OCM Foundation
The Corporal Works of Mercy, Funded Locally
OCM Foundation is the nonprofit heart of our mission. For every parish that adopts the platform, we create a local charitable subsidiary — governed by your community, funded by our profits.
Our Mission
The Seven Corporal Works of Mercy
These are not abstract ideals — they are the concrete, tangible acts of love that OCM Foundation subsidiaries are designed to execute in your community.
Feed the Hungry
Food pantries, meal programs, and partnerships with local food banks to ensure no one in your parish community goes hungry.
Give Drink to the Thirsty
Clean water initiatives and support for those without access to basic necessities.
Clothe the Naked
Clothing drives, voucher programs, and partnerships with local charities to provide dignified clothing to those in need.
Shelter the Homeless
Emergency housing assistance, rent relief programs, and partnerships with local shelters and housing organizations.
Visit the Sick
Hospital and homebound ministry support, medical expense assistance, and care packages for the ill.
Visit the Imprisoned
Prison ministry support, re-entry programs, and family assistance for those affected by incarceration.
Bury the Dead
Funeral expense assistance for families in need, bereavement support, and memorial fund management.
The Model
How OCM Foundation Works
A self-funding model that turns software adoption into local charitable impact.
Parish Adopts OCM
When a parish, school, or ministry adopts OCM Financial and Engagement, they become part of the OCM ecosystem.
Local Subsidiary Created
OCM Foundation creates a local 501(c)(3) charitable subsidiary tied to that community — with local advisory board participation.
Automatic Funding
10% of OCM Financial's profits from that community are automatically tithed into the local foundation subsidiary.
Local Execution
The local subsidiary executes the Corporal Works of Mercy — food pantries, rent assistance, clothing drives, and more — all governed with local input.
Why This Matters
- Profits generated by your community fund charitable work in your community
- Local advisory boards ensure programs serve real local needs
- No additional fundraising burden on the parish
- Full financial transparency through OCM Financial reporting
- The more parishes that adopt OCM, the more communities are served

Principles
Guided by Catholic Social Teaching
Subsidiarity
Charitable decisions are made at the most local level possible. Each subsidiary is advised by people who know the community's needs.
Solidarity
The OCM network connects parishes in shared mission. As the platform grows, every community benefits from the collective impact.
Transparency
Every dollar is tracked through OCM Financial. Donors and community members can see exactly how funds are deployed.
Dignity
Programs are designed to serve with dignity — meeting people where they are and providing assistance without stigma.
